“Colour and light form the very foundation of my work, drawing constant inspiration from the astonishing complexity and beauty of the natural world. I hope this artistic journey resonates with you and invite you to discover a piece to make your own”

About

Emma Lightowlers

As a British-Swiss contemporary artist and printmaker, I create work that traces a geographic journey from the mountains to the coast. Driven by a love for bold colour and dramatic contrast, I use a variety of techniques on canvas, paper and wood to capture the astonishing complexity and beauty of the natural world.

My work sits in collections in Switzerland, Germany and the UK, and I regularly exhibit in Switzerland and across Europe. My latest exhibition runs from 1 – 30 September at House of Colours, Spalenberg 58, Basel.
